The laser injection isn’t so much a weapon as it is a cool new medical device. However, as with most useful things, they can be used for evil as well as good. Of course, the good people over at MIT who have been developing the laser injector don’t intend for people to use it as a weapon.

You are probably wondering, what exactly is a laser injector? Well, its a device that painlessly and conveniently installs a laser beam right into your body, which you can then fire out of the palm of your hand at your enemies.

Haha just kidding, it injects medicine painlessly.

Well, thats what it is intended for. Of course, you can put whatever liquid you want into the laser injector, and then it can go from being a medical device to a frightening weapon. But how does the laser injector actually work? Basically, the laser fires a blast of air that is smaller than the head of a needle, and it carries whatever liquid with it right through your skin without you even feeling it.

As you can see in this graph, something is definitely happening.

The laser injector has a few benefits – it is painless and quick, so children and anyone afraid of needles won’t have anything to fear anymore. Unless of course they are afraid of a flesh piercing laser gun, in which case they have a lot to be afraid of.
