The Canadian Firearms Safety Course (Non-Restricted) provides the mandatory training required to apply for a Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL) in Canada. This instructor-led, 8-hour in-class course covers safe firearm handling, storage and transportation requirements, legal responsibilities, and the operation of non-restricted firearms. The course includes a practical examination, guidance through all required paperwork, and completed documentation provided upon successful completion for submission to the RCMP for licence approval.

• Loading and unloading of 9 typical action types
• Firearms history
• Ammunition types (handgun, rifle and shotgun)
• Best practices for using a firearm in the field or at the range
